In this months edition of APIL magazine I was interested to read that a study published in the Journal of Environmental Health Perspectives found that for every 4 to 5 Mesothelioma claims reported worldwide at least one goes unreported. Apparently this study is the first to provide a global estimate of unreported mesothelioma claims.
My Personal Concerns over the Scrapping of Legal Aid for Clinical Negligence Claims

Apart from the obvious financial implications that the proposed Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Bill will have upon the ability of vulnerable and genuinely disabled individuals to bring a justified compensation claim, if the proposed scrapping of legal aid for all clinical negligence claimants that this bill proposes is brought into force, I do have other concerns.

I attended talk given by Dr Beli, neurosurgeon based at the Wessex Neurological Centre in Southampton. He said that between one third and a half of all people suffering a traumatic had or brain injury (TBI) also had injury to their pituitary gland, but these were often going undetected.
