I read today that the company Costains has been fined £250,000 by the HSE following an accident on one of their construction sites on the M25. A surveyor was visiting the site when he was hit by a reversing 8 wheel tipper lorry and tragically died as a result of his injuries. He could not hear the lorry coming towards him because of traffic noise.
