Ms C 96 year old lady who was riding her disabled scooter when a driver reversed his car out of a parking bay, into her path.  Liability was admitted which left only the question of value.

Ms C suffered no physical injuries but was left suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder . This meant she had no confidence to go out on her own in her disability scooter. 

She underwent Cognitive Behavioural Therapy treatment and we were able to arrange for the Psychiatrist and the Psychotherapist to visit her at home.  The treatment helped improve her confidence and it is hoped that in time she will make further improvement.

We were able to recover the cost of the private treatment in the sum of £1450 together with £11,450 for her psychological injuries and £50 for  her miscellaneous expenses.
