There were problems with the water level in the swimming pool at the caravan site where the client was staying with her family. The pool had been drained and then re-filled but the camp site owner had not filled to the correct water level in the plunge pool area. On entering the pool from the slide, our client cracked both feet on the surface of the pool, injuring her heels. As a result of her injuries, our client may not be able to wear high heeled shoes again and is at increased risk of arthritis.

We were able to bring proceedings under the Package Travel Regulations against the tour operator the family had booked the package holiday to France with."
