Blake Lapthorn's London office will participate in the London Legal Walk 2012 on Monday 21st May. A regular fixture for our office, we are fielding a team of 14 walkers and aiming to raise as much money as possible for the cause.

Blake Lapthorn has been instructed to represent a former pupil at St Benedict's School in Ealing. The school has been subject to controversy, after the BBC reported in December 2012 that a former teacher had received a suspended jail sentence for assaulting two boys.

An Orlando bound Virgin Atlantic flight has been forced to return to Gatwick Airport for an emergency landing after smoke was reported in the cabin. Flights to and from Gatwick Airport were suspended but the main runway had reopened by the evening of Monday 16 April 2012.
