Blake Lapthorn has recently been appointed to act on behalf of a holidaymaker who contracted e-coli allegedly as a result of staying at the Hotel Sensatori, Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt in May 2012.

We are now well into the show season, following a bit of a false start due to the horrendous wet weather. I am often contacted by people at his time of year, who have been injured at a show ground.

I was interested to read of the article by Arthur Kaufan in the recent APIL PI Focus. Mr Kaufan's article discussed whether psychological aspects of accident injuries are over looked and under claimed.

It is National Carers Week . A week in which we pay tribute to the millions of unpaid carers of those with permanent illness and disabilities.
Carers are usually the immediate family of adults and children with severe disabilities such as spinal cord and/or brain injury, very frail elderly parents and spouses who are suffering from dementia and other complications, to those with terminally illnesses, such as cancer and MS.
