Blake Lapthorn Acts for Client in Race Mix-up Story

A number of stories were run in the national and international press on Sunday 29 April 2012 regarding a gay couple with two children from different racial backgrounds following IVF treatment at a London clinic. The family is being represented by Blake Lapthorn.
The parents of
the children wish to make the following statement to address some of the comments
made in the press today:
"We love our
children very much and whilst the current situation may have implications for us,
that in no way detracts from our love of our children and contentment with them
in our lives whatever their race. Our
distress arises out of the fact that this press coverage is an intrusion into
our privacy, and has made public an intensely private matter."
On behalf of the
family, Blake Lapthorn is taking all necessary steps to prevent any further
intrusion into their private life.
