I was reading an interesting article that reminds cyclists that they also have to obey the traffic laws and this relates not only to the UK.Cyclists should also acquaint themselves with the traffic laws of each Country when cycling abroad as not all Countries have the same laws.

Cyclists should also not presume that they will be seen by the motorist when cycling and make sure they wear reflective clothing at night and also protective clothing at all times in order to lessen the injuries should there be an accident.
As cyclists usually come worse off when involved in road traffic accidents with motor vehicles and such accidents can sometimes be fatal it is very important that cyclist adhere to the traffic laws.
As in all accidents, liability will be placed on the party who has been negligent which is as much focused on the cyclist as the motorist, who must also respect the place of the cyclist but the cyclist must also take responsibility for their actions as not all accidents are due to the negligence of the motorist.
