Julia was lucky enough to see Roger Daltrey live at the weekend at The Broadlands with his Tommy Reborn show and apparently danced all night!! Alas, she may not be able to see him play as part of The Who again!
It has been reported that 67 year old Roger Daltrey isn't sure he will take to the stage again with Pete Townshend because of the guitarist's hearing problems.  Apparently, Pete Townshend is "almost stone deaf" after deafening himself in the recording studio and apparently when on stage has to stand right by the speakers in order to hear anything!
Roger is understandably concerned with his friend's health and doesn't want to do a tour only for Pete to end up completely deaf as a result.  66 year old Pete Townshend also suffers from tinnitus and has done so for many years.  Pete has apparently visited many specialists in an attempt to solve the problem but to little effect.
Unfortunately and as a lawyer who specialises in claims for Noise Induced Hearing Loss there is no treatment or cure for the hearing loss or tinnitus.  It appears that perhaps it is time for this rocker to put away his guitar.  I shall pass the tissues to Julia.
